In the kitchen I empty my coffee cup and look out of the window. The light is strange: blue and orange and strong purple darkness behind it at times. I grab my camera and walk towards the shore.
I should at least get a few nice shots, there are always some ships at the horizon - maybe that will give a nice picture. Arriving at the rocks, I notice I don´t have much time, the rain is almost there. Experiment a bit with my ISO and f/stop and start moving. Paying attention to the waves, looking for nice colours and contrasts. Today I will expose for the clouds - it will create deep shadows in the front of the picture but I don´t care about that now. The cloudhunt is on!
On my way back up, I see this beautiful anonymous red umbrella and know that I have gotten lucky.
There is always a picture out there.
Always.
